I have an old notebook that was damaged due to hard drive is no longer running. I'm assuming it's because of bad sector.  And I'm googling and found the symptoms of bad sectors was as follows:

• No response

Some commands read or write there is no response (hang)

• Difficulty reading

The difficulty is characterized by the need to head to read a particular area several times (retry) before finally read it. Processes such as head movement when reading bad sectors, only after several successful head read

• You can format it but can not read

Sometimes a local hard disk can be formatted and reported the existence of bad sectors, but when the header of hard drive read, it will be difficult to read.

• Bad sectors temporally

Sector were reported damaged by software and the platter is physically damaged

•  Permanent bad sector

Sector who are physically disabled reported damaged.

• There is no buzzing sound

The motor is not working properly, sometimes can not start sometimes die after a while.

• Disc or Platter

And my notebook is homed. Cuz I have a new one :D

UNREADABLE FLASDISC | RAW FORMAT

Problems of my flashdisc more complicated, kingstone 4 gb no longer can be open, unreadable, zero byte, become RAW, can not be formatted, and its become useless, and the data in it is very important. It may be caused Sality virus from one of my friend notebook's. The notebook can be saved, and my FD is dying.
 I have manually formating the flashdisc by right click and properties, but it useless. sometimes it say : Insert the disc or Error: Windows cannot determine the number of sectors on this volume.
I explore the google, and try these:
1. Via DOS format > format [drive:] /fs:fat32 and enter , example format e: /fs:fat32 and enter

2. Download hp-usb-disk-storage-format-tool 


3. Download Repair V2.9.1.1 
4. And i found someone say this in the forum : Use disk management: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management. In Computer Management, click "Disk Management" on the left which is under "Storage." In the lower portion on the right, you should see a list of all the volumes. Right-click on the one you want to format and click "Format" 


And untill now, my flashdisc still unreadable. maybe it had damage :(

If your computer screen suddenly blank like gorilla's brain, pet of uncle Simon . You can not access the windows explorer, can not even watch porn video you just downloaded. Computer has been restarted many times and still blank. Take it easy I know the solution. Just throw the computer to the gorilla's face. Finished!
But if you still think you can, and more intelligent than the gorilla, let's do this:

1.  prepare the cranberry juice (just in case if your computer explodes, and you can douse with it)
2.  scan your computer using a good antivirus (maybe it only virus)
3.  turn on the computer and click: ctrl + alt + del to start task manager.
4. click on new task
5.  fill the open C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ Restore \ rstrui.exe. (to start the system restore program).
6.  then run system restore,
7.  select: restore mycomputer, to an Earlier time.
8.  click next: select the date and month and
9.  click next: restore confirmation
10.  click next to start and wait until the end. if you've the message: restore complete, it's meaning a successful restore.

Now boot again and pray .... if all goes normally like hell and you can drink your cranberry's juice.


Try two things above, but if you do not succeed, you hug the gorilla's uncle simon and reinstall your program window. done!
